Almost exactly five years to the day after “#13”, the quintet presents its fans with twelve brand new songs, including the BEATLES cover “Drive my car”. With ‘Thunder & Lightning’, the band also have a new hit in their quiver, which has not only made fans’ hearts beat faster since its premiere in January, but has also caused quite a stir on the radio. From the driving opener ‘AI And I’ to the balladic, reflective rocker ‘Burning Bridges’ and the retrospective ‘Liverpool’ to the harp-influenced résumé ‘These Are The Days’, GOTTHARD present a refreshing work with “Stereo Crush” that masterfully combines every strength and experience from their history, which now spans over three decades !
Stereo Crush” was produced, recorded and mixed by long-term partner Charlie Bauerfeind, who also works for other scene greats such as HELLOWEEN or BLIND GUARDIAN, together with GOTTHARD co-founder Leo Leoni at Yellowhouse Studio, while Sascha ‘Busy’ Bühren (TrueBusyness) took care of the mastering.
