Start of the World Tour in South America. The tour took us through 22 countries. The 67 shows attracted more than 300,000 spectators and went till December.

Release and immediate no.1 chart entry for the 10th studio album “Firebirth” in Switzerland, Top Ten in Germany.

Special guest of Bülent Ceylan in the sold-out Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt with 45000 visitors

The band announces that they will go on, and start to search for a new singer.

The band received over 400 tapes from different singes all over the world which applying for the singer job.

Auditions for singers from all over the world.

On November 20, the band announces the new singer Nic Maeder. At the same time the single “Remember it´s me” is released as a free download single for the fans.

Gotthard are in the studio to record a new album which should be named “Firebirth”.
